Did you know that SpaceX also uses Delphi
The Delphi programming language was used to create a simulator for SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket. This simulator, called the First Stage Simulator, uses engineering equations to simulate the behavior, stresses, and performance of the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket.
The simulator includes several panels to load structural information, engine performance characteristics, throttling control curves, and vehicle inclination. The main panel shows the progress of the simulation in real-time and includes a 3D model in an OpenGL window, initially synchronized with an actual launch video. This allows for comparing speeds and altitudes at any moment to assess the accuracy of the simulation.
Once the simulation is completed, all information can be downloaded into an Excel file to create evaluation charts.
