Abi Noda, CEO of DX and co-creator of the DevEx framework, and Gergely Orosz, author of The Pragmatic Engineer newsletter, recently published an article titled “Measuring Developer Productivity: Real-World Examples.”

In the article, they examine a survey conducted by Noda on the engineering metrics used across a wide range of well-known tech giants, revealing that the indicators in use include both qualitative and context-specific quantitative metrics, rather than relying on DORA or SPACE metrics.
